
Kevin Dougherty
Kevin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton School. He hails from Pittsburgh and is one of the founding members of ComedySportz Philadelphia. In addition to BAD HAIR and ComedySportz Philly, Kevin is also a member of LunchLadyDoris, Philly’s most popular long form group. Kevin has performed with 1812 Productions, Theatrix and Free Fall Productions’ Choosical, The Improvised Musical.
David Dritsas
David graduated from Penn State University with a degree in journalism. He has performed with ComedySportz Philly since 2001 and recently starred in Free Fall Productions’ Choosical. By day he writes about cool technology and high-end gadgetry for a number of other publications you’ve probably never heard of.
Nathan Holt
Nathan received his BA in theater from Bates College, where he served as President/ensemble member of The Strange Bedfellows, Bates' improv comedy group. Nathan has also performed with The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and at the DC Fringe. Currently, you can see him improvising alongside the other men of BAD HAIR with ComedySportz Philly, or spitting ill-rhymes with partner Gavin Riley, as they bring absurdity and good clean fun to hip-hop as wunderkind duo, Rowan and Hastings.
Don Montrey
Don (short for “Donald”) has been writing and performing comedy for the past six years. He was the head writer of The Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theater (Philly’s version of the Tony Awards) for 4 years. He has written and directed numerous short films that have played in festivals around the country. In addition to ComedySportz, Don hosts DIE ACTOR DIE, an occasional evening of actors doing stand-up. By day he trains out-of-work actors to be fake patients.
Jason Stockdale
Jason is a graduate of Rowan University. He was the lead in Batboy: The Musical at City Theatre in Wilmington DE and has worked with a number of companies around Philadelphia, including ComedySportz, 1812 Productions, Free Fall Productions’ Choosical and Enchantment Theater’s national tour of The Snow Queen. He is one of the managers of the Philadelphia Phillies’ Phanstormers.
Mike Worth
Mike received his BA in Music from the University of Pennsylvania, and his MA in Film Scoring from New York University. He performed with Polywumpus Improv comedy from 1997-2001, before moving to New York to study film scoring. Upon returning to Philly, Mike joined the Hair as resident musician (and occasional sketch extra). He lives in Narberth, and has a career writing music for television and video games. Most recently, Mike has scored cues for Rush Hour 3, and a new MTV animated web show.
John Zak
John has an MA in Theatre from Villanova University. In addition to ComedySportz, he has worked for The Wilma Theater, Lantern Theater Company, Azuka Theater and InterAct Theater Company among others. John recently trumped everyone in the group when he won a Barrymore award for his performance as Caliban in Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival’s production of The Tempest.
